Supplements

In the U.S. there is no regulation of supplements. I read a recent report from consumer reports about protein powder. Th brands listed had scary amounts of cadmium, arsenic, and lead. Some had mercury too. Is this a problem in other countries too, or is there more consumer protection?

One thing that helps is timing your eating. When you wake up do something active, even if it's only 15 min worth of activity. Super sets some push up and sit ups or something. It gets your metabolism going. Give yourself a couple hours after eating your snack before doing your main workout then eat ...
