One of my very first rips...how bad are yours ??
Tips:
Trim your callouses often, either with a pumis stone (after shower is best).
I use a blade (disinfect with Isocol, or hand sanitiser), however be careful not to cut your self, cut top down.

I've had plenty of rips. The main things I would recommend would be to wash out the rip first so no dirt or grime is left in the wound and cover with polysporin. The main aim at this point is to avoid infection while the wound is still raw. Also, cut away the dead flaps of skin.
When the wound is healing it dries out and I've had plenty of times when it cracks/splits into mini vag's that can be painful. You can avoid this vaginosis by putting some moisturiser on the area.
